This is the minimal version of the Darwin support patch from Bruce Hartzler <bruceh@mail.utexas.edu>. It contains shared library support, regression test map, and the usual template files. The dynamic loader is missing, the spin lock code apparently doesn't assemble due to syntax problems, and semaphores are to be hoped for from Apple. 2000-10-31 20:55:20 +01:00

Adjust Darwin build to use the default 'two level namespace' linking method. Fix a number of places where shared libraries were linked without mentioning all the libraries they depend on; the Darwin and AIX ports are known to require this, and it doesn't seem to hurt any other supported platforms. Install the SQL command man pages into a section appropriate for each system. Some systems did not understand the 'l' section, and in general it wasn't entirely appropriate.
