From 47c7365e794a0a57382efefbf1f2b062c7a3e3d3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Robert Haas Date: Fri, 22 Jun 2012 09:03:25 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] Make pgbench -i emit only one-tenth as many status messages. These days, even a wimpy system can insert 10000 tuples in the blink of an eye, so there's no real need for this much verbosity. Per complaint from Tatsuo Ishii. --- contrib/pgbench/pgbench.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/contrib/pgbench/pgbench.c b/contrib/pgbench/pgbench.c index f6cd4aad15..d3f6b51589 100644 --- a/contrib/pgbench/pgbench.c +++ b/contrib/pgbench/pgbench.c @@ -1399,7 +1399,7 @@ init(void) exit(1); } - if (j % 10000 == 0) + if (j % 100000 == 0) fprintf(stderr, "%d tuples done.\n", j); } if (PQputline(con, "\\.\n"))
