8fc86dd593 We have just finished porting the old KAME IPv6 patch over to 
postgresql version 7.3, but yea... this patch adds full IPv6
support to postgres. I've tested it out on 7.2.3 and has
been running perfectly stable.

337da0678a Assorted fixes for Cygwin: 
Eliminate the mysterious games that the Cygwin build plays with the linker
flag variables.  DLLLIBS is gone, use SHLIB_LINK like everyone else.
Detect cygipc in configure, after the linker flags are set up, otherwise
configure might not work at all.

Make sure everything is covered by make clean.

Fix the build of the new conversion procedure modules.

Add new DLLIMPORT markers where required.

Finally, the compiler complains if we use an explicit
-I/usr/local/include, so don't do that.  Curiously, -L/usr/local/lib is
still necessary.

da4683fbe1 Okay, libpq++ is moved to GBorg, and all traces of it have been removed 
from the core repository ... I haven't *moved* the libpq++ files out of the
tree, mainly as we want to keep them in place for past branches ...

Peter, I think I've covered all the files I need, and re-ran autoconf to make
sure the configure file is in place properly ...

2f2d05763d Change PL/Tcl build to use configured compiler and Makefile.shlib 
system, not Tcl-provided one.

Make sure export file, if any, is cleaned.

Tcl configuration is now read directly in configure and recorded in
Makefile.global.  This eliminates some duplicate efforts and allows
for easier hand-editing of the results, if necessary.

72a3902a66 Create an internal semaphore API that is not tied to SysV semaphores. 
As proof of concept, provide an alternate implementation based on POSIX
semaphores.  Also push the SysV shared-memory implementation into a
separate file so that it can be replaced conveniently.

2e32eca8d0 Allow detection of collateindex.pl in stylesheet directory or in path, 
which covers some recent installation schemes.

Add Mandrake installation layout to directories to check for stylesheets.

Allow documentation build to proceed if stylesheets were not found, in case
the stylesheets might be found through the SGML catalog mechanism.
