<command>pg_resetxlog</command> renamed to <command>pg_resetwal</command> pg_resetxlog pg_resetwal PostgreSQL 9.6 and below provided a command named pg_resetxlog pg_resetxlog to reset the write-ahead-log (WAL) files.
