Dean Rasheed 2bfb50b3df Improve reporting of "conflicting or redundant options" errors. When reporting "conflicting or redundant options" errors, try to ensure that errposition() is used, to help the user identify the offending option. Formerly, errposition() was invoked in less than 60% of cases. This patch raises that to over 90%, but there remain a few places where the ParseState is not readily available. Using errdetail() might improve the error in such cases, but that is left as a task for the future. Additionally, since this error is thrown from over 100 places in the codebase, introduce a dedicated function to throw it, reducing code duplication. PostgreSQL tests
================

This directory contains a variety of test infrastructure as well as some of the
tests in PostgreSQL. Not all tests are here -- in particular, there are more in
individual contrib/ modules and in src/bin.

Not all these tests get run by "make check". Check src/test/Makefile to see
which tests get run automatically.

authentication/
  Tests for authentication (but see also below)

examples/
  Demonstration programs for libpq that double as regression tests via
  "make check"

isolation/
  Tests for concurrent behavior at the SQL level

kerberos/
  Tests for Kerberos/GSSAPI authentication and encryption

ldap/

  Sanity checks for locale data, encodings, etc

  Tests for multibyte encoding (UTF-8) support
