Marc G. Fournier b973530737 simple script to pull together a very small (<500k) tar file that builds 
*just* libpq ... its not perfect, as it pulls in more files then is
necessarily required to build, but as it is, it requires one simple patch
to configure.in in order to work ...

Tested on FreeBSD ... patch for configure.in hasn't been applied, but
putting the script in place so that it doesn't get lost ...

PostgreSQL Database Management System
=====================================
  
This directory contains the source code distribution of the PostgreSQL
database management system.

PostgreSQL is an advanced object-relational database management system
that supports an extended subset of the SQL standard, including
transactions, foreign keys, subqueries, triggers, user-defined types
and functions.  This distribution also contains C language bindings.

PostgreSQL has many language interfaces including some of the more
common listed below:

PostgreSQL.  That file also lists supported operating systems and

file COPYRIGHT.  A comprehensive documentation set is included in this
distribution; it can be read as described in the installation
instructions.
